At Bute House we believe that intelligence is not fixed and by nurturing the right intellectual habits of mind, our girls can become active learners, with the necessary characteristics to support them when they face challenge.
Our seven Learning Powers underpin all we do at Bute and they are taught explicitly as well as being embedded into the curriculum. Developing these character traits will not only enable our pupils to be successful learners, but will also prepare them for the world beyond school. We all find some things more challenging than others, but by using these Learning Powers, Bute House girls will be encouraged to become their best selves.
